Information

Inspired by wild sea botanicals and small Hebridean crofts, Downpour Coast & Croft is a dry gin made with hand gathered island botanicals that you can taste in every drop. Pepper dulse seaweed is harvested from North Uist's rocky shores at low tide and distilled into a concentrate before being blended with a distillate of specially selected botanicals, including hand-picked wild thyme. Each batch is named after the part of the island the seaweed is harvested from. Fresh green herb tones lead on the nose with a rich base of juniper. On the palate, citrus and that wonderfully moreish umami of pepper dulse create a finish that is long and elegant.
