Eight Lands Gin is made only with organic ingredients, grain, ten botanicals and the purest water from our Clashmarloch spring. Drawn from our organic land, it means that no pesticides or fertilisers make their way into our water. A contemporary classic, Eight Lands Organic Gin is a London Dry-style gin with a bold, juniper-forward profile perfectly balanced with lots of fresh pine and citrus aromas leading to a clean, crisp, slightly fruity finish. Distilled in small batches in our 1000-litre pot still, with a combination of overnight maceration and vapour infusion, it is refined further with eight plates of one of our rectifying columns, for extra smoothness. The botanical lineup is a mix of classic gin ingredients and some unique additions. Juniper berries take center stage, as they should in any good gin, but they're complemented by fresh citrus notes from lemon and lime peel. Add to that a bit of spice from cardamom and cassia bark, and you've got a well­ rounded flavor that is distinct. And we add an interesting twist with the inclusion of sorrel and cowberry, hand-picked botanicals that are native to the Highlands and our family estate. Sorrel brings a slightly tart, herbaceous note, while cowberry (similar to a cranberry) adds a touch of fruitiness that brightens up the gin without overwhelming it. 46% ABV. 10 different botanicals including cowberries and sorrel from our estate.
