A Kulmbach, nel cuore della Franconia, ha sede il birrificio Mönchshof, fondato nel 1349 dai frati cistercensi. Oggi è il più rappresentativo dei birrifici Franconi, grazie alle tante specialità birrarie e alla sua tradizione e cultura secolare. Dal 1516 produciamo le nostre birre con solo acqua, malto, luppolo e lievito, rispettando ancora oggi la 'l'editto della purezza'. Tradizione, innovazione e sostenibilità: materie prime del territorio, risparmio energetico e attenzione all'ambiente.
